Oliver Bierlich Nonell is the creator of the projects Reefer Decree,Oryx and latest Oliver Jones.Jonas Christiansen is the other half of this project and their debut album is titled "Picking Up The Pieces".
This album was released in 2007 on Sofabeats, an sublabel from Iboga Records.
His albums has had excellent critics and several releases on compilations.His first was "Sound Frames" back in 1999.Then followed 2 oryx albums "Oryx on the Run" and "Advanced Retromodel" and latest in 2006 the Reefer Decree album "Point of You".This album captured the essence of the "Reefer sound" combining melancolic melodies and progressive baselines.This album ends with the classic track "Nightvision" which was co-written by Olivers old partner in Reefer Decree, jiwook Bijl.
His new liveset does include his favorites of the old material, but mainly it consists of his newest material. The old kick has been replaced and new production and new compositions takes this upcoming album to a completely new level.With more groove, an electro touch including naughty sampling from artists as Bjork and Eminem.He delivers a very refreshing and promising liveset that has to be heard and is yet to be released.
